Joanne Ralko

Member at Large

Joanne (she/her) is a mother of two young children and has been a pediatric nurse for nearly 20 years. She currently works at BC Children’s Hospital in an educator role. While her professional experience is primarily with adult learners, Joanne deeply values the nurturing and enriching environment that Bayview Preschool provides for young children.

Through her own child’s participation in both the STEAM Program and the Advanced Nature Program, Joanne has witnessed firsthand the exceptional care, support, and learning opportunities the preschool offers. Joanne is eager to help strengthen community connections and bring a fresh perspective, along with a light-hearted sense of humour, to the Board as a Member at Large. She looks forward to learning from and collaborating with fellow Board members to support the children, families, and broader Bayview community.
