Ms. Gloria Proctor-Bennett
Gloria is a singing, dancing, imaginative and fun-loving ECE from Waterloo, Ontario. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Waterloo and received her Early Childhood Education Diploma from Seneca College. She has over 18 years of experience working with children and considers being a preschool teacher an incredible privilege.
She is passionate about making the world a better place through her work with children. She loves teaching about local Indigenous cultures and cultures from all around the world through those cultures' music, art and stories. She especially enjoys working with parents to celebrate the many cultures present in a preschool class itself.
Helping preschool children learn to regulate their bodies and their emotions is an area of study that Gloria has delved into deeply so that she can help children build these skills within themselves.
In her spare time, Gloria loves exploring BC, making art and hosting theme parties.
