25. Personal Possessions

Children are allowed to bring a favourite stuffed animal or comfort item from home at the beginning of the school year. These familiar items can provide a sense of security and help children ease into the new environment. However, during the preschool day, we do ask that parents not allow their children to send general toys from home. This can help minimize distractions and potential conflicts over toys among the children. It can also promote engagement with the toys and activities provided at the preschool.
