Important Dates

Events 

In a regular school term, there are various social events held throughout the year, including fundraisers, the Halloween Howl Party, a trip to the Pumpkin Patch, Family Day celebrations and much more! You can keep track of all of these through the ProCare App, using the Calendar function on your main screen.  

Field Trips 

Throughout the year, we hold field trips to extend on children’s learning in the outside world. We do ask for family volunteers during these events, to establish a smaller ratio of children to adults, which enhances safety.  

Meet and Greet 

During May, all new children and their families are invited to a Meet-and-Greet session at the Centre. There are many opportunities to ask questions regarding preschool. It’s a great time to meet the teachers and make connections with other families who will be attending their first year of Preschool at Bayview. 

Annual Camping Trip 

All families are invited to join us at Porpoise Bay Provincial Park for our Annual Camping Trip on the first weekend in June. In 2025 – the camping trip will be held on June 6 - 8. 

Graduation  

At the end of the year, we celebrate our journey together with an End-of-Year Picnic, full of games and play. We follow this with a small ceremony.
