10. Other Financial Policies

Childcare Subsidy 

Our Licensed Preschool Programs qualify for the affordable child care benefit. If you require a subsidy claim, please call the Child Care Subsidy Service Centre at 1 (888) 338-6622. Families receiving subsidies will be required to pay the difference between the subsidy and the monthly preschool fee. 

NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds) and Late Fee Charges  

NSF Charges - Bayview makes every effort to remind families that fees will be debited on the 1st or 2nd of every month from September to May. In the event of a Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) transaction, families will be charged $30 for each NSF payment attempt.  

Late Pick-Up Fees 

A late fee of $25.00 per 15 minute period (or part thereof), and $1.00 for each additional minute thereafter, will be charged if you are late picking up your child after Preschool. The fees will be deducted via Plooto as a one time payment. A late form will be issued by one of the teachers, and the payment must be arranged with the childcare manager before the next Preschool session. If a child is repeatedly picked up late they may risk losing their spot in the program. Families will be given written notice with a final warning. If they are late again their child will be removed from the program. 

Refunds 

Illness, vacation, extreme weather, unforeseen circumstances, and scheduled holiday closures do not merit make-up days, refunds, exchanging for another day, or a reduction in fees. The day(s) of the week your child is registered in care for is non-transferable.  

Income Tax Receipts 

Through the ProCare App, on the Billing Page, you can download a Year End Tax Statement. This will include:  

• Name & Address of the school.

• Time Period of the statement (for example: Jan 2018 - Dec 2018).  

• Your school's Tax ID.

• Names of the Parents on the Account.

• Previous Balance from any time before the start date.

• All transactions through the period specified. 

• Ending balance at the end of the period specified.
